Summary: The slides cover the methods used to predict the shear stresses expected to occur, due to weather and vessel traffic at the Randle Reef sediment thin-layer capping remediation project, Hamilton Harbor, Ontario. Altering the capping materials to larger grain sizes in some locations, and applying speed and power restrictions on vessels, should be considered.
